This work is considered an “after” because a team of wood engravers carved the plates after Matisse’s painting. Matisse did not carve the wood blocks but approved the printing and signed. 

Good Condition, vivid color, no foxing or apparent fading. Appears hinges have been removed from hinges on verso. Frames and presents beautifully
