Norway's most famous graffiti artist, Dolk Lundgren, known simply as Dolk ("dagger" in Norwegian), is best known for his stencil art inspired by (and sometimes mistaken for) Banksy's work. Though it was once speculated that Dolk was simply a pseudonym used by Banksy, it now widely known that this is not the case. Dolk satirizes pop culture with tongue-in-cheek humor. He has been praised by Pictures on Walls as "the premier stencil artist in Norway wise beyond his years."
